![]() Suzanne Maviano, ASID of Suzanne Maviano Designed Interiors has more than twenty years of experience as an interior designer and specializes in residential and commercial interiors. Suzanne's expertise is problem solving which has saved her clients both time, effort and money. Suzanne is graduate of Harrington Institute of Interior Design, a State of Illinois Registered Interior Designer and a Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Suzanne has been active in her profession. She has served as a Board of Director and as an Officer of the Illinois Chapter of ASID. Suzanne has received several Outstanding Appreciation for Service awards from ASID. She continues to stay current with continuing education classes on new products, color trends, and a great deal more. Suzanne has recently been published in Crain's Chicago Business in the suburban home sales and real estate section as one of the experienced Chicago Area Interior Designers to contact. SERVICE TO OTHERS... Suzanne also believes in using her skills to help society by voluntary service. She has been a Trustee of the Building and Grounds committee of Seguin Services Incorporated, a center for the developmentally disabled. Suzanne has helped design many of the sixty handicap accessible homes and the Raidl Play and Learn Courtyard Playground. This playground was created to help DCFS biological parents who had lost their children into the foster care system interact with them in a safe and supervised environment. Suzanne is voluntarily active in the Community Service Project of ASID. This creative and philanthropic arm of ASID has designed Marah's Transitional Housing and The Rebecca Johnson Apartments. Both provide housing in our community for women who are impoverished and homeless. Suzanne is an Honorary Life Member and Past President of the Riverside Chapter, Infant Welfare Society of Chicago. The Chapter is a philanthropic organization that raises funds to provide numerous health services for those in financial need. |
